🎄 Austrian Christmas Bakery Box – Alcohol Free
Everything We Bake for Christmas, in One Box
Austria at its finest — just baking. Two cakes, a bag of handmade Christmas cookies, our Lebkuchen Mix and a box of Elisen Lebkuchen, the finest grade of gingerbread, made entirely of ground nuts rather than flour.
This is the box for a household that bakes, or for anyone who loves delightfully baked things. Everything in it comes out of our bakery in Islington, by hand, in the weeks before Christmas.
Choose which cake leads: a Christmas Sachertorte, two of our Sacher Christmas figures, or a Tiroler Stollen. A whole 18cm Linzer Torte comes with all three.
What's in the box — at a glance
In every Bakery Box:
- 1 × Linzer Torte, 18cm
- 1 × Kipferl Austrian Christmas Cookies (Weihnachtskekserl)
- 1 × Kipferl Lebkuchen Mix — handmade Austrian gingerbread
- 1 × Kipferl Elisen Lebkuchen
Plus, depending on which box you choose:
- Cake Box — 1 × Christmas Sachertorte, 18cm
- Sacher Figures Box — 2 × Sacher Christmas figures
- Stollen Box — 1 × Tiroler Christstollen
All of it baked by hand in our bakery in Islington.
What's inside, and why
Christmas Sachertorte — Austria's most famous cake: a light, crumbly chocolate sponge with two layers of apricot jam under a crisp chocolate glaze, finished with festive decoration.
Sacher Christmas figures — the same dough as the Sachertorte, cut into Christmas shapes: a tree, a star, a gingerbread man. The thing children go for first.
Tiroler Christstollen — from an old Tyrolean recipe, packed with candied fruit, nuts and marzipan. Drier and firmer than the German style, for thin slices and good butter.
Linzer Torte — claimed as the oldest named cake in the world, with a recipe written down in 1653. Short almond pastry with redcurrant jam, cinnamon and cloves.
Christmas cookies — ten handmade Weihnachtskekserl: Vanillekipferl, Linzer Augen, Husaren, Ischler and Kokosbusserl.
Kipferl Lebkuchen Mix — our own gingerbread: a mix of Basler Lebkuchen, chocolate-coated and ganache.
Elisen Lebkuchen — the top grade of Lebkuchen, made almost entirely of ground nuts rather than flour. Originally from Nürnberg, and the one worth seeking out.

Please note that all our products are made fresh in our little bakery in Islington, where we handle ingredients used across the whole range. While we do everything possible to minimise the risk of cross-contamination, we are a very small operation without fully separated production lines, so cross-contamination cannot be completely excluded.
In our bakery we use products containing allergens like dairy, nuts, gluten (wheat), egg, sulphites and soya.
If your allergy is severe, please consider carefully whether you choose to consume our food. If you want to be 100% safe, the only option is not to consume any of our products.

Delivery & presentation
Packed by hand and sent directly to the recipient, with no prices anywhere on the packaging. Add a personalised message card at checkout.
Delivered UK-wide by courier on a date you choose, and same-day in London on orders placed before 12:00. Everything in this box is baked fresh, so pick the delivery date with that in mind.
Because there is no alcohol in it, this box can also go to workplaces and addresses where a wine delivery would be awkward.
