Christmas Sachertorte — Austria's most famous cake, and the safe choice: a light, crumbly chocolate sponge with two layers of apricot jam under a crisp chocolate glaze, finished with festive decoration.

Tiroler Christstollen — from an old Tyrolean recipe, packed with candied fruit, nuts and marzipan. Drier and firmer than the German style, meant to be sliced thin and eaten with butter.

Linzer Torte — claimed as the oldest named cake in the world, with a recipe written down in 1653. Short almond pastry with redcurrant jam, cinnamon and cloves: crunchier and spicier than our other cakes.

Grüner Veltliner Löss, Zuschmann-Schöfmann (Weinviertel). A family estate in Martinsdorf specialising in classical Grüner Veltliner from Loess soils — crisp and gently peppery, the character that has defined Austrian whites for generations.

Blaufränkisch 7301, Kirnbauer (Mittelburgenland). From one of Austria's most respected red-wine houses, the family behind Phantom, the country's first premium red blend. Blaufränkisch is Austria's great red grape: dark, spicy and structured.

From our own bakery — the items common to every box:

The wines contain sulphites.

Please note that all our baked products are made fresh in our little bakery in Islington, where we handle ingredients used across the whole range. While we do everything possible to minimise the risk of cross-contamination, we are a very small operation without fully separated production lines, so cross-contamination cannot be completely excluded.

In our bakery we use products containing allergens like dairy, nuts, gluten (wheat), egg, sulphites and soya.
