Tiroler Christmas Stollen Cake - Weihnachtsstollen
A SPECIALTY FROM TIROL 🏔️
Anywhere in the German speaking world you go during Winter, you will find the typical bread for the festive season, called Stollen.
Following an ancient recipe from my home province of Tyrol, our Stollen is packed with candied fruits, nuts and lots of marzipan.
The perfect companion for an afternoon tea with the family, enjoyed with butter and jam.
Please note: Austrian Stollen is dryer and more solid than the German style Stollen.
