Orders

By placing an order with us you will be deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. These Terms & Conditions and your use of our website are governed by English law and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English court. This does not affect your non-excludable statutory rights. This website and our terms and conditions have been designed for use within the United Kingdom and under UK law. 

Payments

We accept payments with a Credit Card, Debit Card, and PayPal. We use Stripe as our clearing service.

Purchase of Alcohol

By accepting the terms and conditions, you confirm you are over the age of 18 years old and have proof of age/identity if it is requested. This relates to orders which include Wine, Spirits or any other product which contains alcohol content. 

Goods & Conformity

We take every care to ensure that the description and specification of our products are correct at the time of going to press. However, while the colour reproduction of the products is a close representation, we cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the browser software or computer system used by you. We reserve the right to substitute any product with a product of the same or higher value as advertised.

Damaged Goods

Whilst we take great care in packaging all goods, there are occasions where products are damaged in transport. We take customer satisfaction seriously and, once satisfied with the validity of your claim, will either offer you a refund or a voucher for a future order. Where cosmetic / decorative damage has occurred but the cake is still consumed, a decision will be made at our discretion and typically a shipping refund and a discount code for a future order will be issued. For orders where the item is completely destroyed / inedible, either a replacement will be delivered if possible or a full refund issued. Please ensure that photos are taken of the shipping label on the box and of all damage to the product, then send us an email at shop@kipferl.co.uk, clearly stating your order number and attaching the photos.

Right to Cancel & Return Policy

You may normally cancel your order only if the goods have not been shipped. If you cancel your order after the order has been shipped we reserve the right to charge you for any perishable goods and the shipping and return charges. To do so you must give us written notice (includes email) within a 7-day period of receipt of your order. If you do cancel the order after you have received the parcel within this time period any payments made by you minus charges for perishable goods, shipping and return charges will be refunded within 30 days. Cancelled orders must be returned to us and must be received by us complete, in perfect condition, unused, and in their original packaging. Please return any cancelled orders to: Kipferl Ltd., 20 Camden Passage, London N1 8ED. We do not supply goods on a trial basis. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Shipping & Delivery

We use a variety of delivering companies trying to ensure the fastest and most convenient way to get our products to you. However we rely on your feedback to check on the delivery services we use. If a parcel has arrived in any other condition than anticipated by you, please email us on shop@kipferl.co.uk.

We use a same day local courier for bakery products delivery to most postcodes within the M25 (Greater London), and we use DPD as our overnight courier for the rest of the UK. Delivery costs can vary based on location and the different options will be displayed in the checkout. 

For our same day courier in the M25 area, please ensure that your address details are 100% correct and that you / someone will be at home to receive delivery within the window provided by the courier. The courier charges for re delivery if they have to return to your address later in the day and this charge will be passed back to you to be paid. 

We try to process any order within 2 business days and will send you an email, once your goods have shipped, including tracking number, if applicable, with a probable arrival day. Handling and shipping charges are based on type of product and weight, calculated automatically and listed separately in the shopping card. We only ship to physical addresses in the UK Mainland and cannot ship to BFPO addresses.

If you live in remote areas please consider adding an extra day to delivery. Our chosen courier provide a next day service however in some areas, it can sometimes take up to 2 days.

Important: Since we mainly use overnight carriers please provide us with a delivery address where there is definitely somebody available to receive the parcel. The carriers will only confirm the probable delivery day, unfortunately not a delivery time. Always consider your place of work, a neighbour or a friend as alternative shipping address. Should something come up last minute and you need to change delivery day or delivery address please contact us immediately and, provided the parcel has not already left us, we will change it.
