Kipferl has been London's Austrian patisserie since 2003. Unlike most cake delivery services, we are not a warehouse or a marketplace — we are a working bakery, restaurant and patisserie at 20 Camden Passage in Islington. Every cake is made there by hand, and for London orders it goes straight from our kitchen to your door, often the same day.

Most cakes delivered in London are baked days earlier, somewhere else, and shipped in. Ours are not. We bake in Islington, deliver within the M25 with our own premium courier, and you can walk into the shop and taste the same cakes before you order them.
Everything we make is rooted in the Austrian home-kitchen and Konditorei tradition. We don't source from industrial suppliers or sub-contract production — from the apricot jam folded into our Sachertorte to the buttercream layers in our Esterhazytorte, we make it ourselves. Birthday and celebration cake delivery in London
Our celebration cakes can be personalised with your own message and delivered anywhere inside the M25. Choose from the full birthday cake range, add a heart-shaped cake for something more personal, or order a celebration cake with your message piped on top.

Delivery across London — timing, coverage and cost
We deliver to any postcode inside the M25, Monday to Saturday, and you have two options.
Same day delivery is available Monday to Friday on orders placed before 2pm from our same day range, and is priced according to the delivery distance.
Standard London delivery is £10.99, or £16.45 for a pre-12:00 slot. Order before midnight and your cake can be delivered on the day after the next working day — the same schedule as our UK delivery. Minimum order value is £20.00, and the delivery date selector in your basket always shows the days currently available.
However you order, our premium London courier collects from the bakery in the morning and brings your cake directly to you between 08:00 and 17:00. You'll get a text message with a one-hour delivery slot and your driver's contact details, so you know exactly when to expect it. Please make sure your address details are correct and that someone will be there to receive the cake within the slot provided.

Kipferl is more than a delivery service. Our restaurant and patisserie at 20 Camden Passage, Islington N1 8ED has been serving Austrian food, cakes and coffee since the shop opened — Wiener Schnitzel, Apfelstrudel, Käsespätzle, Austrian wines and proper Viennese coffee, a two-minute walk from Angel station.

How fresh are the cakes when they arrive?
Every cake is made by hand in our Islington bakery and collected by our courier the same morning — so London orders reach you within hours of leaving the kitchen. Cakes stay fresh for up to 5 days when refrigerated.
Can I have my cake delivered on a specific date?
Yes. The delivery date selector in your basket shows every available day. For weddings, corporate events or any occasion where timing is critical, we recommend ordering 3–4 days in advance to secure your chosen date.
Can I send a cake as a gift to someone in London?
Yes. Cakes are delivered directly to the recipient's address, and our celebration cakes can be personalised with your own message. Please make sure someone will be at the address to receive the delivery.
Do you offer gluten-free, dairy-free or vegan cakes?
