🧑🏻🎄 Austrian Christmas Delicatessen Gift Hamper – Alcohol Free 🎄
An Austrian Christmas, Without the Wine
Sometimes wine is the wrong gift. An office. A family with young children. Someone who simply doesn't drink. This hamper carries the whole Austrian pantry and our own Christmas baking, and not a drop of alcohol.
Styrian pumpkin seed oil, Viennese coffee, Staud's jam from Vienna, Austrian mustard, Manner wafers and Almdudler — alongside a bag of our handmade Christmas cookies, packed by hand in Islington.
Two sizes. The large adds Mozartkugeln from Salzburg, our own Lebkuchen Mix and a whole 18cm Linzer Torte.

What's inside, and why
Our Christmas cookies — ten handmade Weihnachtskekserl from our bakery in Islington: Vanillekipferl, Linzer Augen, Husaren, Ischler and Kokosbusserl.
Linzer Torte (large hamper) — from Linz, and claimed as the oldest named cake in the world, with a recipe written down in 1653. Short almond pastry with redcurrant jam, cinnamon and cloves.
Kipferl Lebkuchen Mix (large hamper) — our own gingerbread: a mix of Basler Lebkuchen, chocolate-coated and ganache.
Steirisches Kürbiskernöl PGI — the dark green Styrian pumpkin seed oil with protected origin status. Over salad, over pumpkin soup, and — trust us — over vanilla ice cream.
Helmut Sacher's Kaffee — Viennese-style highland Arabica, small-batch roasted near Vienna, for a proper Wiener Melange at home.
Staud's — Vienna's traditional jam-maker since 1883. Fruit picked at peak ripeness, gently set without thickeners.
Mautner Markhof — the Austrian mustard that has been on Viennese tables since 1841.
Mozartkugeln (large hamper) — Salzburg's icon: pistachio marzipan and nougat under dark chocolate.
Almdudler — Austria's herbal lemonade, first mixed in 1957.
Manner — Vienna's pink-wrapped wafer icon since 1898, still made just behind St Stephen's Cathedral.
Dietary and Allergen Advice
From our own bakery:
- Austrian Christmas Cookies — contains nuts, eggs, gluten, milk.
- Linzer Torte (large hamper) — contains gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts (almonds).
- Kipferl Lebkuchen Mix (large hamper) — contains gluten, eggs, nuts, dairy, soy.
Bought-in Austrian items: the Manner wafers contain gluten, milk, soy and nuts (hazelnut); the mustard contains mustard. The Mozartkugeln, pumpkin seed oil, coffee, jam and Almdudler carry their own allergen labelling on the pack, and full ingredient lists are on their individual product pages.
Please note that all our baked products are made fresh in our little bakery in Islington, where we handle ingredients used across the whole range. While we do everything possible to minimise the risk of cross-contamination, we are a very small operation without fully separated production lines, so cross-contamination cannot be completely excluded.
In our bakery we use products containing allergens like dairy, nuts, gluten (wheat), egg, sulphites and soya.
If your allergy is severe, please consider carefully whether you choose to consume our food. If you want to be 100% safe, the only option is not to consume any of our products.

Delivery & presentation
Packed into a wicker hamper, finished with ribbon and sent directly to the recipient — nothing to unpack and re-wrap at your end. No prices appear on the packaging.
Add a personalised message card at checkout. Delivered UK-wide by courier on a date you choose, and same-day in London on orders placed before 12:00.
Because there is no alcohol in it, this hamper can also go to workplaces and addresses where a wine delivery would be awkward.
Frequently asked
Is there really no alcohol in it? None — not in the hamper and not in the baking.
Can I send it straight to the recipient? Yes — enter their address at checkout. No prices appear on the packaging.
Can I add a personal message? Yes — we offer a handwritten gift card (£3.50) that can be added to your order.
Can I change the contents? Yes — email shop@kipferl.co.uk before ordering and we will put something together for you.
