It took us years to create a cake we felt could carry the name of our bakery — and the Kipferl Torte is the answer. A light vanilla sponge layered with two generous folds of creamy, buttery pistachio, crowned with a crisp milk chocolate glaze and a scatter of crushed almonds.
Familiar, indulgent, unmistakably ours. The cake we've been waiting to make.

Please note that all our products are made fresh in our little bakery in Islington, where we handle ingredients that are used to make all our products. While we do everything possible to minimise the risk of cross-contamination, we still have a very small operation and do not have fully separated production lines, so cross-contamination of ingredients cannot be completely excluded.
In our bakery we use products containing allergens like dairy, nuts, gluten (wheat), egg, sulphites and soya.
If your allergy is severe, please consider carefully whether you choose to consume our food. If you want to be 100% safe, the only option is not to consume any of our products.

"It's the first taste of Kipferl torte and it didn't disappoint. A beautiful soft moist cake encased in a crunchy chocolate coating. My only disappointment is that I didn't order the large size! I have ordered a large one for next time already."

"Excellent cake. The sponge tasted home made, the pistachio cream was delicately but distinctly flavoured and not overly sweet while the milk chocolate covering was very good quality and balanced the other flavours perfectly. Quite delicious and looked beautiful whole or sliced. My only complaint was that it arrived damaged, the chocolate having been cracked and the medallion dislodged in transit. Either it needs a more careful courier or more robust packaging. The cake itself, though, could not be faulted."

All our cakes are made fresh to order in our London kitchen and have at least 3 days shelf life when they arrive. Less creamy ones like the Linzer or Sachertorte will last even longer (over 6 days)

Once the temperature rises over the summer months in the UK, we begin to send ice packs in parcels to keep cakes cool.

Most of our cakes can be frozen as a whole or in pieces. We do not recommend freezing the creamy cakes like Esterhazy, Maronitorte and Cheesecake though.
