Back at Kipferl! Botanist Georg Scheu created the grape variety Scheurebe white wine in 1916 by crossing Riesling with Buket-Traube. The result is an aromatic, fruity white wine with aromas of stone and tropical fruit and with light residual sugar. Scheurebe White Wine is a real hidden gem and excellent value!

Goes well with vegetarian dishes, chicken and salads.

About Weingut Potzinger

The Potzinger family have made wine in Südsteiermark since 1860 — one of the longest family-run estates in this corner of southern Austria. Today the winery is led by Stefan Potzinger, who carries forward the family's commitment to wines that are unmistakably Styrian: mineral, elegant, fresh.

Sustainability sits at the centre of the estate's philosophy. The vineyards are managed with care for the long-term health of the land, and the wines are certified both sustainable and vegan. In the cellar, the goal is to capture the character of Südsteiermark as faithfully as possible — natural, age-worthy whites of the highest quality.

This is a rare wine

"This is a rare wine to find and I love it. It's fruity and dry at the same time but the lovely soft fruit flavours make this quite special"
