Mautner Markhoff Austrian mustard is a staple in every Austrian kitchen. The classic Estragon (tarragon) mustard is mild and spicy and goes well with sausages, any meat and marinades. At Kipferl we serve it with all our sausage dishes. Kremser Senf is sweeter and grainy and goes well with sausages, lamb and beef. Many Austrians will use both mustards with their sausage dishes, meat or any dish that needs spicing up with Austrian Mustard.

"I inadvertently bought the tarragon mustard; it’s in a red and white tube like the plain. But the taste is delicious. It’s subtle with a hint of sweetness behind the tangy mustard. Delicious with just about anything; toasted sandwich, mashed potato, add a squeeze to lift a sauce or gravy without overpowering the flavour."

All our cakes are made fresh to order in our London kitchen and have at least 3 days shelf life when they arrive. Less creamy ones like the Linzer or Sachertorte will last even longer (over 6 days)
Once the temperature rises over the summer months in the UK, we begin to send ice packs in parcels to keep cakes cool.
Most of our cakes can be frozen as a whole or in pieces. We do not recommend freezing the creamy cakes like Esterhazy, Maronitorte and Cheesecake though.
Yes, please refrigerate all cakes to ensure they stay fresh for as long as possible.
