Since 1979 Alois Gölles and his family have devoted themselves to making the best spirits, putting their heart and soul into it and leaving nothing to chance: only the healthiest and ripest fruit make into their distillery still. Nothing added - no sugar, artificial flavours or colours, just clean, crips fruit. The Schnapps is double distilled in traditional copper vessels and aged in glass flasks, so called demijohns.

Many people have lost their hearts to the Alte Zwetschke at first sight of its wonderful amber color. But when the balanced, mild and ripe fruit aromas, paired with the soft wood note, touch the palate, even the last person is convinced.
Its unique aroma makes it the ideal accompaniment to fine cigars, strong espressos or simply the crowning conclusion to a cozy evening.

All our cakes are made fresh to order in our London kitchen and have at least 3 days shelf life when they arrive. Less creamy ones like the Linzer or Sachertorte will last even longer (over 6 days)

Once the temperature rises over the summer months in the UK, we begin to send ice packs in parcels to keep cakes cool.

Most of our cakes can be frozen as a whole or in pieces. We do not recommend freezing the creamy cakes like Esterhazy, Maronitorte and Cheesecake though.
