Austrian Rarities - Box of Three
Rotgipfler Brindlbach: A natural cross of the aromatic Traminer and Roter Veltliner this extremely rare autochton (indigenious) grape variety is typical for white wine village Gumpoldskirchen in the Thermenregion south of Vienna. Lots of tropical fruit, banana and mango, off dry with a lovely balance and an elegant and complex finish. Perfect match for Ceviche and Asian dishes.
A refreshing white wine, perfect as an apéritif.
St. Laurent Classic: Another uniquely Austrian grape variety, related to the Pinot family. Ruby red, with notes of blueberries and prunes, smooth and chocolatey finish, organic. From the famous red wine village Soosz south of Baden bei Wien.
Wonderful with roast chicken.
Gelber Muskateller: Weingut Stefan Potzinger, Südsteiermark: light but heavily scented with a hint of apricot and mint, the aromatic Muskateller is celebrating a well-deserved comeback in Austria and beyond. Gelber Muskateller is the same as Muscat a petit grain, the smaller, more complex variety in the Muscat family. 3 stars in Vinaria Austrian Wine Guide 2021/22!
Great with salads or on its own the terrace in the summer.
