Organic Grüner Veltliner from the aptly named Weinviertel (wine district), North of Vienna by our main suppliers Else and Peter Zuschmann Schöfmann. Typical fresh peppery note, citrus fruit and yellow apple. Our exceptional house white, dry, refreshing and versatile – this Gruener Veltliner is a good match for most dishes.
Gruener Veltliner is Austria's signature and unique white grape variety. It can have many nuances, from apple to citrus and stone fruit, but always with a distinctive peppery note. It is so popular it alone accounts for a third of Austria's vineyards.
Since 2007, Else Zuschmann and Peter Schöfmann have been passionately dedicated to crafting artisanal sparkling wines. The chalky soils and cool climate of the Weinviertel, combined with their organic farming practices, provide the ideal foundation for grapes of the highest quality.
As a 17-hectare sparkling wine estate, they personally oversee every step — from vine to bottle. Their grapes are hand-harvested and gently processed to preserve their full aroma and delicate structure. The result: characterful sparkling wines that capture the uniqueness of their region in every glass.

All our cakes are made fresh to order in our London kitchen and have at least 3 days shelf life when they arrive. Less creamy ones like the Linzer or Sachertorte will last even longer (over 6 days)
Once the temperature rises over the summer months in the UK, we begin to send ice packs in parcels to keep cakes cool.
Most of our cakes can be frozen as a whole or in pieces. We do not recommend freezing the creamy cakes like Esterhazy, Maronitorte and Cheesecake though.
Yes, please refrigerate all cakes to ensure they stay fresh for as long as possible.
