Bärig Alte Reben, Bauer, Orange Wine, Natural & Organic
Our first wines from the Wagram wine region on the Danube west of Vienna and one of three new orange wines in our portfolio. Roter Veltliner is a real rarity and is only distantly related to Grüner Veltliner.
Bärig is a blend of both grape varieties, from vineyards with over 50 year old vines. The wine macerates nearly for two months on the skins. Melon, pear and quince on the nose, apple and tannic grip on the palate. Citrus and almond add to the intricate finish. Excellent value!
Goes well with Asian food and works perfect an aperitif
